It boasts an extensive car collection made up of more than 280 vehicles, family-friendly activities and play areas; gardens, exhibitions and the Palace House and Abbey. It strikes the perfect balance between learning, playing and exploring with something for everyone, it guarantees to keep the whole family entertained.
If you’re a family of animal-lovers, this summer holiday discover the New Forest Wildlife Park, just 13-minutes away from our Hampshire hotel on the edge of the New Forest.
At the New Forest Wildlife Park, you can delve into another world, one with conservation and education at its heart; a family-run park that is home to more than 260 animals including native and endangered species. Attend feedings and keeper talks daily, wander the park, play in its playgrounds and find out everything there is to know about their conservation and preservation work.
For action-seeking families, head out for a day at the New Forest Water Park. A 42-minute drive from our New Forest hotel, it’s worth the drive for a day of water-based fun; try wakeboarding, give stand-up paddle boarding a go, hire kayaks or take on the floating inflatable aqua park obstacle course as a whole family.
Dog Friendly
If your dog is part of the family and joining you on your summer holiday break at our dog-friendly hotel then consider taking everyone to the New Forest & Hampshire County Show between 29th –31st July 2025.
Just 15-minutes from our Beaulieu hotel in the village of Brockenhurst, this dog-friendly* show welcomes everyone to enjoy a renowned annual agricultural event, featuring livestock competitions, equestrian displays, local produce and drinks stalls, and craft demonstrations across an impressive 30 acres. On the 6th August, our dog-friendly Hampshire hotel is once again hosting The Great Beaulieu Dog Walk.
We’re inviting dog-walkers, local or visiting to assemble for a beautiful summer dog walk through the New Forest, starting at The Montagu Arms Hotel and heading to the historic Buckler's Hard.
This popular event includes complimentary tea, coffee and dog treats, the opportunity to stop at The Master Builders in Buckler’s Hard for a tea, coffee, and dog ice cream before heading back to Beaulieu. Find out more and how to book here.
