Davide Santocono

We’re delighted to welcome Davide Santocono as the new General Manager of The Montagu Arms Hotel. With an impressive background in luxury hospitality, Davide brings a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Davide previously worked with Hand Picked Hotels, where he held roles as Deputy General Manager and Interim Hotel Manager, gaining valuable leadership and operational expertise. Prior to that, he spent over four years as Hotel Manager at Careys Manor Hotel & SenSpa, where he helped shape the warm, welcoming atmosphere guests came to love.

What truly sets Davide apart is his commitment to genuine hospitality. He believes in the power of small details, warm welcomes, and ensuring every guest feels truly cared for. Returning to the New Forest—a place he’s always loved—feels like coming home, and he’s excited to lead our team into a new chapter.

Outside of work, Davide has a real appreciation for great food and enjoys getting out into nature—two things we’re lucky to have in abundance here.

He’s looking forward to meeting our guests, new and returning, and continuing to build on the relaxed elegance that makes The Montagu Arms so unique.
