Room Attendant

Type: Permanent, 2 positions available
Location: The Montagu Arms Hotel
Pay: £11.50 per hour
Job Duration: Permanent, 15-20 hours per week with a rota operating on 5 out of 7 days.
Reports to: Head Housekeeper

Main Responsibilities:

• Changing and making beds
• Cleaning bathrooms with appropriate products
• Dusting and vacuuming bedrooms
• Removing rubbish and separating recyclable items
• Cleaning tea making facilities and replenishing supplies
• Replenishing towels, stationary, bathrobes, slippers etc
• Comply with health and safety regulations including COSHH
• Wear appropriate uniform and ensure that personal presentation is tidy and acceptable to guests
• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Be able to direct guests and have basic knowledge of hotel and facilities
• Follow company procedures and guidelines
• Act in accordance with the Hotel’s fire plan

As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for servicing hotel bedrooms and public areas to a superb standard and ensuring our guests are delighted every time. You will be a team worker with a flexible and enthusiastic attitude to work with good attention to detail.
Transport is an advantage to reach the picturesque village of Beaulieu. The hotel is situated 6 miles from Brockenhurst Village and train station with excellent rail links to Bournemouth, Southampton and London.
