Get creative and enjoy a relaxed, hands-on experience at the Montagu Arms with this candle making workshop led by Beaulieu Candle Company.

This engaging workshop offers a wonderful opportunity to learn a new skill while having fun. During the session, you’ll be guided through the basics of making container candles and wax melts using artisan techniques. You’ll discover how to work with candle wax, fragrances, dyes, and a range of materials to create beautifully scented products.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have your handmade candles and wax melts to take home.

All materials are provided, so there’s no need to bring anything with you. However, we recommend bringing a small box to safely transport your creations, especially if they haven’t fully set.

The session will conclude with a traditional afternoon tea, providing a relaxed and indulgent finish to the experience.

Held every second Thursday of the month starting 12th March. The quiz kicks off promptly at 7pm with entry just £2 per person (cash only). Gather your team of up to 6 players and compete for the chance to win a two-course dinner for two – plus the winning team takes home the entry pot! Food and drink are available to order at the bar throughout the evening.
