Meet The Dog Models - Sid & Lennie

Today, we are thrilled to introduce you to two very special four-legged companions who have stolen our hearts – meet Sid and Lennie, the charming canine models of our pet friendly Hampshire hotel.

Nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of the New Forest National Park, our hotel is a haven for both humans and their beloved pets. With miles of open greenery, ancient woodlands, and meandering trails just steps away from our doorstep, it's no wonder that 3 year old West Highland Terrier, Sid and 5 year old Working Cocker Spaniel Lennie adore exploring this stunning natural playground. And after they've worked up an appetite, they like nothing more than visiting Monty's - our dog friendly New Forest Pub - where they're greeted with open arms, belly rubs, and even a treat or two.

How long have Sid and Lennie been a part of your family?

  • We got Sid when he was 8 weeks old and was super tiny!

 

  • We have had Lennie since she was a puppy - for five years.

What is their favourite treat?

  • Sid is quite greedy and not at all fusy! From Peanut butter to sausages, he will have it all.

 

  • Lennie loves a dried rabbit ear.

What is their favourite toy?

  • Sid loves his Kong stuffed with treats.

 

  • Lennie's is her fox.

Where is their favourite walk?

  • Sid loves going to the beach - particularly from Hengistbury Head to Mudeford Spit. Once at the beach, he likes to have a rest. He also loves to go up to Acres Down.
  • Sid is the perfect dog as he would happily walk all day or stay in, he’s just so laid back!

 

  • Lennie is very energetic and loves a walk every day, her favourite walk is at King's Hat.

What is a fun fact about them?

  • Sid’s human grandparents own his twin brother Monty! There were just the two of them in the litter so it’s lovely they can see each other and play like hooligans regularly.

 

  • Lennie loves trick training and can ‘play dead’.
